Make Pyxel Edit remember the folder I work with

I'm mostly working within the same folder, with lots of little images in it.

But everytime I import, export, or import my color palette it jumps back to the PyxelEdit folder in My Documents.

Can you make it remember the last used folder? Or is there a trick/fix?

This is not possible in the stable 108 release, though you might want to check out the beta release which you can read more about here Prerelease Beta Testing as it makes it possible to choose recently used paths from a list, and it remembers your last saved destination.
