error saving and opening existing files

Error parsing JSON data

Type Error: Error #1009
at pyx.io::PyxelLoader$/loadDocument()
at Function/<anonymous>()

this is the error I receive and I have not been able to fix it.
I have already tried uninstalling and reinstalling.
pls help

Hi agrehpa

Does this happen with all files you save and try to open again?
Try to change the extension of one of the files from .pyxel to .zip and extract the content.

I tried that and it didnt work, luckily i save a png of the file and i was able to recreate it. I coulsnt even email the file to danik, as it said the file was empty. Whatever happened it deleted everything in the file but kept the save. Lesson learned always save pngs of your work.
