I've been using this program for the past two or so days now and I think it could benefit from a few different features, mostly from photoshop because that's my comfort zone program and it has spoiled me.
1. Group layers. It would make drawing a lot easier for two reasons: it would neaten up the layers tab and make duplicating a multi-layer character for animation a great deal faster. It would be awesome if I could simply stick tile/frame one into a group, then copy the group or drag it into the next frame or section of the image.
2. Tile Duplicate. This is a little bit of a spin off on the whole "copy the group, drag it to the next frame" idea, as it's more for animation rather than pictures, but it would allow animators to keep their character in the same spot in the tile as the previous tile.
3. Color Picker Improvements. I have a couple of these. Firstly, it would be excellent if one could select a color from the image while the color picker is open. Secondly, it would be excellent if the color suggestions would change based on the square you have currently picked. It's a little annoying wanting to change the hue a little, then having to exit the picker, then having to go back on to do shading or value changes. It just seems a little clunky.
4. LVH Changer: The color replacer is great, don't get me wrong, but if I want to change the overall color, saturation, or value of a large section that's already shaded, it's a little clunky to have to select each color section and replace them one by one, especially if you're not initially satisfied and must continue changing while not knowing if what you have in mind is what you really want. The hue changer would at least give you an idea, and would sort of preserve hue shifts.
5. Lasso Selection: I don't know if this already exists, but if it doesn't, then I think that it's something pretty vital. Being able to select a shape besides a square would allow a great deal more precision.
6. Scroll Bar. No notes needed.
7. A specific hotkey for zooming in and zooming out. The problem mentioned in the bugs section makes the whole "hold the general zoom hotkey and move the mouse to go in and out" creates issues. It also can get confusing sometimes. This is more of a "my personal preference", but I prefer having a zoom in button at the top of my rocker ring and a zoom out at the bottom, because up and down is intuitive to me.
Bugs?
1. No hotkey for changing brush size?
2. I have programmed onto my tablet a button for the brush, eyedropper, selection, and of course on the pen, the eraser. However, I've found that often when I activate a different tool, that the tool I was using before remains active for a single more stroke and thus is a little annoying to work with, because I'll go to erase something and instead I'll get a scribble of color before I'm actually allowed to erase. Either that, or I'll go from the pen to the hand and instead of moving my view of the image, I get a big ugly line across the tile.
Despite all this stuff, I've greatly enjoyed working with this program, and I hope to continue watching it grow.

About feature request 3, 7, and bug 1.
You should be able to pick a color while the color picker window is open, just hold down alt and click somewhere on the canvas.
There are two specific hotkeys used for zooming in and out already, it's '+' and '-'
There are normally two different hotkeys defined to change brush size too, the most convenient is similar to how you do it in photoshop, by holding down 'cmd + alt' and dragging your mouse. However this is bugged and doesn't work in the latest 0.4.0 release... the other way to change brush size is by holding down ctrl, and use '+' and '-'
I agree with all other points.
