juhok's feature suggestions

Just bought the latest version of Pyxel and I just love it! I came up with some suggestions while darting around the program for a bit:

- Option to define how many bits per channel (RGBA) you can have, kinda like in Pro Motion.

- On-the-fly switching to line mode: While drawing with the pen tool, press & hold shift --> line mode. Gimp does this nicely, in my opinion.

- Better palette editing & rearranging. For example, rearranging individual or multiple color swatches around on the palette by dragging & dropping. This is actually something Gimp gets completely wrong, in my opinion. Dragging & dropping a color in Gimp's palette editor automatically duplicates it, yet there's no way to rearrange colors except for using the automatic sorting option.

- More advanced palette sorting algorithms, maybe? :)

- Curve & shape tool. Although, much like the palette suggestions, I'm pretty sure this gets suggested a lot.

- Photoshop-style Free Transform tool for scaling, rotating, skewing and (perspective) distortion. While this tool automatically generates a lot of ugliness, I think this would be an excellent tool with some manual cleanup afterwards.

- Some layer blending modes?

Keep up the good work! :)

Free transform is in there already.  It's combined with the selection tool, so it's limited to square selections(not sure if this will change).

Oh, I see! Well then, add a lasso tool and polygonal selection. :)

Hi juhok, thanks for the suggestions.
I probably won't implement different bit depths since it would require big changes and too me not very big advantages.
Yup, palette management is high on my todo list.
On the fly line mode switching could be interesting...
More tools, yes definitely.
Thanks!
