Hi

Danik mentioned a long time ago that it would require some big changes to the program, and it wasn't planned anytime soon... though as said, that was a long time ago, but i still don't think it's something he's been working on.
People have asked about this feature before, it would be cool but the program is not designed with it in mind and so would need some big changes. I won't say it's out of the question but it's not planned anytime soon unfortunately.
As sweet as it would be to have it implemented, i would personally prefer other things, like custom brushes, shape tools etc... drawing in isometric is not that hard if you know what the line should look like. Having drawn a few templates already, all the lines that isometric tile support would require have only caused me headaches so far.. the pattern itself just seems to complicated to look at for too long.

What if we proposed this instead:
The straight line feature which atm. snaps to 45, 90, 135 deg etc... could also snap at 30, 60, 120 etc... that would make it much easier to at least drag lines in a isometric way.

@Danik do you any new info regarding this request?

Actually that's what I initially assumed was requested. I just want a snapping line tool that does isometric lines automatically!
