Is there any documentation for exporting the maps?

No there is no documentation written as of yet, what is your question regarding exportation, maybe some of the users around here will be able to help you?

Well I just want to know what does what so I can convert the information over to something else.

The export format is not documented, but should be fairly stable. I would suggest exporting as JSON and inspecting the resulting file, it should be pretty straight forward to interpret.
