Turning On/Off Visibility of Layers Causes Hotkeys to Not Respond on Mac

I've noticed this issue especially when trying to animate. I'm using the newest Mac version of Pyxel Edit with 10.10 Mac OSX. If I click to hide a layer and then unhide it again (usually animating something), the hotkeys will not respond. If I have the brush selected and want to switch to erase using the 'E' hotkey, it does not respond and I have to paint using the brush, hit undo, and then the hotkeys work again. This happens consistently for me every time I hide layers.

I can confirm this behaviour, though i am on OS X too. While i doubt it is OS related, having someone using a PC confirm this too, could potentially save Danik some time.
