Grid Size for imported files

I am importing files from .png format and would like to know - how do I add an overlay grid to the imported file? Is there a setting somewhere that I have missed?

You should have a view tab in the top menu bar, there you can enable "show pixel grid"

What about tile grid? Say I want to assign a 16x16 grid to assist in drawing. Is this possible or do I have to rebuild all my art in the new format?

Hi Sledge,
You can import the file using File > Import > Import tiled image(s), in order to get it tiled. There is no functionality for sub tile grids or guides though.

Thanks Danik. That was exactly what I was searching for. I'm a little embarrassed that I did not see that option right in front of me earlier...
