That's strange. It seems to be a mac bug because I cannot reproduce it on Win. I'll see what might be causing it.

- Save a file
- Then select 'save as...' and use a different filename (see the dialog screenshot)
- Error. See error screenshot.
It seems PE has still selected the previous filename and uses that as the base folder.
Workaround: in the savedialog, go a folder up, then click the folder you want to save in (this deselects the current filename, preventing the problem).
Could be Mac only. 0.3.100.

I have such a similar bug on mac too:
When you export 2 times without closing the export window in a row, the second one gives a similar error. -> need to restart pyxel.
