Newbie Question

I'm just now getting in depth with pixel art and figured this was a nice and simple [but well put together] program to get. My biggest question is, is there a way to drag out shapes without having to manually create them? Like being able to click and drag to make a circle/square/whatever? Thanks for any replies!
