Hey Everyone :)

Its only 9 days ago when I got my Paid version of PE, and I am loving this small yet super software too much. Many things can be done with this software which makes work easy and fast.

I got one question that is PE only for making Pixel art, or we can make some regular art too, from regular art I am those good looking and finished type of art, I don't know what we use to call that , but if I want to do the normal art is that possible or not.

Because on Youtube video many tutorial guys said that pixel art can be done in PE and is good, but I would like to make some high quality art too with PE now or if not possible will be in future, because PE is so much handy and do all the work in minutes.

Thanks guys, Take care.
Have a nice day.

What is your definition of Pixel Art?

If you are thinking about tiles and sprites then...

Yes! You can do 'non' pixel art in Pyxel Edit. I'm actually building a 1000x700 (ish) picture using PyxelEdit and GIMP. I'm pretty much only using GIMP for Fonts.

In this picture, I am pixel arting and line arting as well as fill arting. I may actually do some spriting too.

Here, below are some example of what I think you mean by not pixel art. (Mainly tent and ballons)

I think by pixel art I mean those un-smooth lines you can see in that tent picture, I think if we can make a smooth line in PE it will be good and I think high quality art can be made with PE too, I want that because PE gave so many good solutions to make art easy. Like if I want to make a character that looks high quality in say 256 x 256 tile and so. Maybe smooth lines can solve this problem of mine. But I think as PE go up it will get more nice and good.

Thanks for the comment,
Bye bye take care.
