Eraser reveals magnified background pattern

When erasing pixels (even if the pixel contains no color to begin with) the background pattern behind the erased pixels becomes magnified to the current zoom level. The effect looks like this:



I've dragged the eraser over the top half of the canvas. You can see the background at normal size on the bottom half. The effect is fixed immediately after releasing the mouse after dragging the eraser.

Yes, I'm aware of this. It's because of a limitation in the canvas rendering during brush strokes. Hopefully I can fix this later!
