Indexed Palette and Quick Color Adjustment

I'm finding that the palette isn't a 1:1 of the image index to be a bit frustrating. I'd love an indexed mode or something that functions similarly and I'd love it if when I changed a color in the palette it changed the corresponding color in the image. I've been looking for something a bit more feature rich than mtPaint, but that isn't as much of a monstrosity as Cosmigo Pro Motion and this really fits the bill, but that one thing is a big hold up for me, because I'm very particular about palette control and use it a lot for aesthetic consistency.

Pyxel Edit doesn't support indexed color modes I'm afraid, but you can achieve what you want using Replace color for palette swatches. You can quickly access it by holding Shift and double clicking a swatch, or right clicking and choosing Replace color.
There is some glitchyness with this feature in the current release, colors don't update when using some of the controls, but this has been fixed in the upcoming version.

Knowing the shift-click thing is a big help. Thank you!
