Cannot open/import image files on OSX10.15

Hi just purchased today. I cannot import or open any images. When selecting file > import, all bmp images I want to import are greyed out. See screenshot. Same for import pallet from image option. All I can do is open *.pyxel files.

I'm on OSX 10.15.6 running pyxel 0.4.9

I can drag and drop files into pyxel, but I want to import a pallet from image.

Thanks
Andrew

Hi Andrew,
Currently you need to drag and drop the image into the program (as you figured out), or use the File > Import menu for bitmap files.
I just tried it and found out The Palette > Import from image option doesn't support BMPs, only PNGs and GIFs... which is not great, I will fix that. Thanks for letting me know.

Ahh, cool. Pallets only import as png. Feel like I can move fwd with the program now. Thanks!

Some else I've noticed is that the  import is not letting me select newly created bmp files, only older bmp files, but drag and drop is working.

Huh, that's strange. Are the new BMPs greyed out in finder?
