More than once, I was working on one big tileset and ended up having to save only one part for the moment. Right now, I need to create a new image and copy/paste but that is annoying and takes more time than it should. The feature name speaks for itself. Can you please add an option to export a selection? Thanks :)

Yeah, this sounds like a worthwhile feature. I will add it to the todo list.

I organized what I needed via swapping tiles and used animations to export a spritesheet of my spritesheet. It didn't take long and came out great for me. Perhaps you can use that as a work a round in the meantime.
