Can't draw a straight line

Version: 0.4.5 (Windows 10)
Problem:
When Shift is pressed using the line tool, no line is created when the mouse button is released.

Reproduce:
1. Create a new file.
2. Switch to brush tool.
3. Press left mouse button anywhere on canvas and then hold Shift.
4. Drag mouse to any other location.
5. Release left mouse button.

Expected: Creates a line between initial point and final location of mouse button.
Occurs: Line vanishes.
