Export "selected only" as PNG (with selection tool)

If we could select a certain drawing with the selection tool and export a PNG based on that, the workflow for a lot of people would improve a lot! Sometimes exporting it's very cumbersome if I have to make a tileset first and the image/creature/item is not 16x16 or whatever I was using earlier. Thank you!

there's a little feature, that works similar as your requested one :)

Simply select the area you want to export and Ctrl + C
Create a new file and Click on "Single Image document"
Click on "Use clipboard size" & afterwards "Create"
Paste (Ctrl + V) your copied selected area and Export it as whatever you wish to! ;)

It's a process of about 6 Clicks and 4 Buttons (Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V) Just about 10-15 seconds process :smiley:

Yes, that would be a very handy feature. It's already on the todo-list, but I'll bump it up a bit.

but ye truth be told. I just realised how painful it could get doing the thing I mentioned on lets say 20+ different tiles :#
