Hmm I see... no it's not likely that it would be caused by another software. Could you please try: open the PyxelEdit folder in Appdata, what folder and files are available? do you by any chance have a log file in AppData/Roaming/PyxelEdit/Local Sto…

Hi Sundrop I think you've made a mistake in your palette. You are using two different nuances of grey, though very similar. The third lightest grey in the bottom is #919292 while the one that didn't get adjusted is #8e8f8f When you've applied that…

There is no way to set the gap between each tile, however you can enable "show tile indices" that should make it easier to see what tile you're looking at. Go to: View->"Show tile indices"

Hi OLO_Jonathan Could you please tell a bit more about how you encounter this problem? If possible please describe the steps to reproduce this.

Woo! \o/ I too will say thank you for keep updating ╭( ・ㅂ・)و

Hi FoamyDog Try the following (Quote) If none of the options above work please send an email to support@pyxeledit.com.

Yup looks like a sweet feature! I'm sure people will find this extremely useful. Good work and good to hear from you too Danik!

That sounds odd, have you tried to clear your config file? if not, do the following: Delete the application storage directory to fully reset the application in case some settings got corrupted Windows: C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\PyxelEdit …

Narque, the latest version is 0.4.4 which you can get from license page. If you're not on the latest version, you should see a notification in the top right corner.

Hi Besto it sounds like you've disabled show pixel grid. You can enable it again by going to the top bar and select View->"show pixel grid". To change background color you simply fill your layer with a color, alternatively, fill the l…

When you paste the key, do you include ----BEGIN ACTIVATION KEY---- and ----END ACTIVATION KEY---- if not, they need to be included too. If it still doesn't work, contact support@pyxeledit.com, then @Danik will probably figure out what's wrong.
-
Hi Amarelle First, are you sure you're inserting the key correctly? Your key should look like this: ----BEGIN ACTIVATION KEY---- Some name c29tZSB0ZXh0IGhlcmU= ----END ACTIVATION KEY---- If the key you are using looks like this:ABCD-ABCD-ABCD-ABC…

That's not possible, no. As mentioned in the FAQ: Pyxel Edit supports full 32 bit ARGB color. The means the Palette is not a "hard" palette, you may use any other color in your images. Exporting has the same limitation, so you'll have to …

Hi JazzmastaJ It is currently not possible to group layers.

Hi dushirox I don't seem to have problems opening your file, so here's what i want you to try: Delete the application storage directory to fully reset the application in case some settings got corrupted: Windows: C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roami…

Hi PurplePikachu Hard to say what's going on. There was another guy some time ago which reported something similar, though I haven't experienced anything like this, but if you open the exported image in photoshop and it looks correct, then it's lik…

Hi yomi What you're trying to achieve is simply not possible with pixels. There is no hack to show more pixels than what you have available. If your image is going to be 400x400, then there are only going to be 400 pixels horizontally and 400 pixel…

This is possible, select the color you want to replace, goto the menu and select color->"replace current color" then all pixels with that color will be replaced.

Hi TommyTheITGuy 1. No idea, haven't heard from @Danik for some time, though he still responds to message on his twitter, so I would assume yes. PyxelEdit is just a pet project as far as I know, so he usually only works on it when he feels like it…
-
Hi Chris_A I experimented a bit with this as I didn't know myself and it seems you can type "." then it will export the files as 1.png 2.png etc...
-
Hi Henark as faranox already said, PyxelEdit is purely a pixel drawing application. You can export your animations and sprites and use them together with a game engine but nothing more than that.
-
PyxelEdit has never been available on steam as far as I know. It sounds like you have added it as a non steam application in the past and just forgotten about it
-
Hi lobstermd I assume you mean for copying and placing multiple tiles? No that's not possible atm. i'm afraid.
-
Have you tried using winecfg? in the graphics tab you can set it to emulate a resolution of whatever you want.
-
Hi vdrg Contact support@pyxeledit.com, then Danik may be able to help you. Is it not working at all under wine or is it because of the resolution?
-
Sorry my bad, what I meant when I said "all" is that you can speed up all frames via the frame-rate multiplier I mentioned above. The frame-rate you see in the timeline, won't be changed by this.
-
Hi icecreamSwirlys There is no way to change the frame-rate of multiple frames, only all or individual. You can use the frame-rate multiplier to speed up or slow down all frames. it's located in the "edit animation" popup which appears wh…
-
Hi patheros I assume you mean individual tiles, like having multiple tiles on the canvas with different sizes, eg. 12x24, 24x24 and 48x48?

Can't say, I recall having read about such a request before, but it's one of the rare ones. Whether @Danik has any plan to add it anyhow, I don't know.
