How to copy a picture into a new canvas

I made a little sketch. To animate it i made a new canves 8x8 but I cant find a way to copy my drawing into the new canvas. I want to move this ^

into this ^

    Hi Mechcash

    You should be able to just make a selection around your sprites and copy/paste that into your new canvas.
