Extrude on export tileset

I'm finding myself having to use texturepacker just to extrude the tiles to prevent tearing in my game.  its an entire extra step.  I'm just wondering if theres an easy way to extrude the tiles on export.

    I need this feature too (absolutely necessary for using tiles in 3d engines). It should be that when you export a tileset you can set extrude amount and edge pixels get copied as far as the extrude goes into padding like area. 

    Also it needs to be actual extrusion as in each tile gets X number of extra same color pixels as that part of the edge copied out.

    Currently padding option gives exported tilemap which is not useful because the padding area for each pixel overlaps!!!
