  • This is unfortunately how the trackpad is used in PyxelEdit, there's no way to pan using the trackpad nor is it possible to unbind the mouse wheel.
  • It sounds like you're working with tiles and they're mapped, if that's the case, you have to unmap the tile you want to use as reference layer. Hover over the "tile placer tool" icon to see how. Usually it's cmd+right-click on mac and ctrl+right-cli…
  • Could you elaborate? You first have to make a selection, then goto Selection->"Flip horizontally" or "Flip vertically". Make sure you're on a layer with content, otherwise it won't work.
  • Somewhat, you can use "copy merged" but that'll copy everything that's within the selected area. You find the action in the menu at: Edit->"copy merged"
  • Are you absolutely sure the color in your palette is the same as the one on the canvas? I still can't replicate it. It could be a bug with the editor which is gone when you export it. Would you mind uploading the project file?
  • Hi Parzival74 It might be that you're not adding the frames to the tiles window, thus it won't get exported. Take a look at this thread http://pyxeledit.com/forum/discussion/comment/2203/#Comment_2203
  • You can batch replace colors already although it requires some extra work... check this thread out: http://pyxeledit.com/forum/discussion/comment/2584/#Comment_2584
  • Hi Bale It could be a coincidence that it started working after you restarted your computer with Flash because Flash is not required to get PyxelEdit working. The only thing you need to install is Adobe AIR   which relies on some of the same tech, …
  • Hi TollyCastle The file works fine here (Mac OS). Given that the canvas consists of 150 wide x 100 high, 16x16 tiles, suspect that the reason you get an error is because you run into the 32 bit limitation. Here's a resized version of your project…
  • Ah I see, so it was just a request about being able to set the tile and canvas size separately when creation a document. My bad, I did indeed miss the point of your first post then. Thanks for clarifying it
  • That will not split the tiles up equally though, it'll just give you another row which is 16x8 (in case of a 16x16 tile), so for a mockup that wouldn't change much. While your suggestion makes it possible to get the dimensions he wants, the outcome …
  • I'm not sure this is a problem with PyxelEdit rather than just being a limitation of pixels in general. There is no purpose in allowing decimal tile or canvas values, since you can't get anything less than a pixel. Either you stretch the pixels slig…
  • Hi vonfawks There is a way to get symmetrical drawing if you use the edges of the tile as the split point. Take a look at this thread: http://pyxeledit.com/forum/discussion/comment/1673/#Comment_1673 It's of course pretty limited, but until a prop…
  • I would just 1. open one of the separated projects, select the entire tile, then goto edit->copy. 2. select the new project again and paste it onto the canvas. Something like this:
  • Hi Mikej117 Did you make the 16x16 tiles separately or is everything in one project file? if the latter then you already have a single 32x32. You just need to export it as an image. If each tile is in a separate project file, then make a new proje…
  • Hi Greed PyxelEdit makes frequent autosaves, so you should be able to recover some of it by going to: Windows: C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\PyxelEdit/Local Store/Autosaves You can enter %appdata% as the path in windows explorer to find the R…
  • Hi rikki.o while I have replied to your other post, you can contact the developer via support@pyxeledit.com or contact him via twitter Here
  • Hi rikki.o Sorry for the long wait to get a response, i accidentally missed your post. Currently it's not possible to duplicate a tile with all layer information contained. When you clone a tile, it only takes the current layer into account. You'll…
  • The dimensions of your image are odd numbered 395x131 which bugs the importer apparently, probably because each tile is 11.96x3.96 instead of 12x4 You'll have to upscale or change it so it matches the dimensions of: 396x132 to make the importer wor…
  • Hi aiat_gamer That shouldn't happen, are you sure you're importing the file correctly? Assuming you import the spritesheet as a "tiled image", you simply set the tilewidth and tileheight to what a tile should be. So for example if you import a 768…
  • Hi MarkyMarc Could you please upload an image or a footage of this these circles? Does it only happen with your tablet or can you reproduce the issue with a mouse?
  • Hi Arto To erase with less than 100% opacity, open the color window and change the value on the "A" box. This however doesn't apply to only eraser.
  • @Omegajeff are you sure the file is being fully downloaded? have you tried downloading the file via a different browser? It could also be your anti-virus program being overprotective and declares the file unsafe. Try to disable your anti-virus soft…
  • @TheBritain  From your licens page. If you don't have the link anymore, use the recovery links here: Use this page to resend your Humble order mail: https://www.humblebundle.com/resender If you bought Pyxel Edit previously using only PayPal you can…
  • Hi watercollider PyxelEdit has no color wheel nor HSV spectrum, only HSL and RGBA are available in the color window.  You can change the hue, saturation or lightness of a swatch by right-clicking on the color you want to change and choose "adjust s…
  • You can use "copy merged" in the edit tab. Make a selection of whatever you want to copy, then go to edit->copy merged. Everything within the selected area will be copied. Of course you will lose your layer information doing it this way.
  • To make it a bit more clear: how it currently is:  100              150           170 frame 1 --- frame 2 --- frame 3   100             150             170               100 frame 1 --- frame 2 --- new frame --- frame 4 how it should be:  100   …
  • That's odd, @Danik do you have any idea why this might happen? It looks like you were right about there being a conflict of some sort... I don't see why it would happen though. Good thing you figured it out
  • Hmm seems to be a similar to a problem which another experienced also experienced, unfortunately I don't think he found a solution. Try this: * open the folder where installed PyxelEdit, go to META-INF/AIR. * add a new file called "debug", it shou…
  • Hmm if that's the case, maybe disabling Windows ink will solve the problem. It would be nice to know a bit more though.
